GLENDALE, Wis. – A hot start in the first inning propelled No. 1 seed MSOE to the championship game as
AJ Hamilton tossed a complete game to defeat No. 6 Edgewood College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (26-16, 18-6 NACC) didn't waste any time as the first two batters reached with Christian Bosque bringing in the first run on a single into right field. After stealing second and then AJ Le reaching on a hit by pitch, Jordan Skolmar walked in the next run before Charlie Claas drove in another run after grounding into a double play to make it 3-0. Le then raced home on a passed ball from Edgewood (22-21, 13-11 NACC) before just pitches later Kyle Mayberry blasted a ball just inside the foul pole over the fence to give the Red & White a 5-0 lead.
- After Bosque added a run in the second on an RBI single in the second, the Eagles got on the scoreboard in the third to cut the deficit in half 6-3. Jack Kalitowski got another rally starting in the fourth singling up the middle for an RBI to score JJ Jackson before the Raiders loaded the bases and got two runners in on a sacrifice fly from Le to bring the lead up to 9-3. The Eagles scored one in the fifth and two in the sixth to cut it 9-6. After Skolmar added an insurance run in the top of the ninth, Hamilton finished the job in the bottom half to finish his complete game to seal it.

The Raiders will await the winner of the Eagles and No. 2 seed Aurora University tomorrow for the championship game. First pitch is schedule for 3:00 PM.
