The Blugolds carried that momentum in the second set, going on an 11-2 run midway through to win 25-12 to go up two sets to none.
  • The Raiders got back on track in the third set after the Blugolds took a 13-10 lead midway and went on a 4-0 run to regain the lead after a pair of aces from Natalie Martinez. The Blugolds went on another run later in the set to take a 22-18 lead but immediately lost it after miscues from to tie the set at 22. Another ace from Martinez gave the Raiders set point before Alyssa Rusch ended it with a kill to win it 25-23.
  • The Raiders stayed hot to begin the fourth set after an ace from Moser gave them a 4-1 lead before the Blugolds took a 7-5 lead. The Raiders retook the lead after a pair of kills from Moser while they extended the lead with kills from Brenna Fledderman, making it 16-12. The offense continued to find their motor late, adding in a block from Ana Knutson and Joelle Harrington to take the final set 25-23 to force a fifth.
