MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's lacrosse team clashed with North Central College on Saturday afternoon, as the NACC conference slate remains less than two weeks away. The Raiders completed a second-half rally to topple the Cardinals, 7–5, in a huge comeback win at Viets Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (3–2) trailed NCC (1–4) after the Cardinals recorded the first three goals of the contest before Isaac Johnston put the Raiders on the board, bringing the score to 3–1 with 2:21 left in the first quarter. The Cardinals added a buzzer-beating goal to close the opening frame, while neither team found the back of the net in the second quarter. The Red and White trailed North Central 4–1 at the halftime break, as the Raiders drew post on shots from Johnston and Dawson Smith.
- The Raiders began to close the deficit in the third quarter as Smith fed Cole Karst for a man-up goal with under three minutes remaining in the frame. Case Roberts added another goal for the Red and White with just nine seconds left in the quarter as the MSOE offense began to build momentum.
- Andrew Toman brought the Raiders within one after another assist from Smith with 7:58 left in the game. Johnston then tallied the equalizer on an unassisted effort to knot the score at 5–5. Tom Farren later found Will Malecha for the game-winning goal with 6:09 remaining. Malecha added one more goal for good measure in the 7–5 comeback thriller. Alex Lo posted three clutch saves for the Red and White in the fourth quarter as the Raider defense finished the contest in dominant fashion, shutting out North Central in the final frame.

The Raiders will make one final road trip before their conference slate begins, as they will clash with Hendrix College in Kirkwood, Missouri. The contest is scheduled for March 14
th, with the opening faceoff set for 1:00 P.M.
