KENOSHA, Wis. - A short-handed MSOE women's tennis team fell to Carthage 8-1 Wednesday afternoon at Smeds Tennis Center.

Senior Marly Trier netted the Raiders' (2-14) lone point against the undefeated Lady Reds (8-0). She scored a straight-set victory 7-5, 6-1 for her eighth win of the season.

MSOE was without its No. 2 singles player, freshman Carly Grant, and conceded points at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles by default.

The Raiders close out the season Thursday, playing at Mount Mary.
