LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Having won their first two NACC matches, MSOE women's tennis headed to Illinois for some non-conference action. Unfortunately, the shorthanded Raiders could not keep their winning streak alive as they fell to Lake Forest by the score of 9-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (2-3, 2-0 NACC) had issues with Lake Forest (2-2) in doubles action, falling in all three matches. Michaela Haensgen and Bethany Noonan would come closest to a win with an 8-2 decision.
- Singles play was just as tough for the Red & White as they dropped all six contests.
- Cierra Smith and Haensgen put up the toughest battles against the Foresters in solo play. Smith fell by the score of 6-4, 6-1 while Haensgen played in a match that featured two sets going into extra points.
WHAT'S NEXT
MSOE will host Concordia Chicago at 10:00 am on Saturday before traveling to Alverno for a 10:00 am first serve on Sunday.
