LAKE FOREST, Ill. – It was a battle of 4-4 teams this evening as MSOE took on Lake Forest in their last non-conference match of the fall. Unfortunately, it wasn't the Raiders who would leave with an overall record of one game above .500 as they fell to the Foresters 9-0.
 MATCH SCORE
 MSOE RAIDERS – 0
 Lake Forest – 9
 HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (4-5, 4-1 NACC) couldn't get any traction on Wednesday night against Lake Forest (5-4, 3-1 Midwest).
- The Foresters earned all three points in doubles play with only the team of Brenna Sheehan and Bethany Noonan earning a game in their 8-1 loss in the third slot.
- Things also went LFC's way in singles action. 11 of the 12 sets were decided by either 6-0, 6-1, or 6-2 scores with the only outlier being Noonan's 6-4 loss out of the sixth spot.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders are done for the month and will pick things back up again on Saturday, October 1st when they visit Illinois Tech. First serve comes your way at 10:00 am.
