MILWAUKEE – The MSOE women's soccer team notched their seventh win of the season on Wednesday night, as
Rachael Klamecki and
Alexis Jamiola added their first goals of the season, and their career, to power the Red and White to a 2-0 win.
RESULT
Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors – 0
MSOE RAIDERS – 2
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (7-4-2, 6-0-1 NACC) came out of the gates pushing the pace against the Warriors (7-3-0, 4-2-0 NACC) controlling the ball across the pitch as they looked to set-up their offense. It wouldn't take long for the Raiders to connect, as Elizabeth Kuhn placed a perfect kick from the corner into the chaos of the box, with Rachael Klamecki heading in her first goal of the season to put the Red and White ahead 1-0 less than ten minutes into the contest.
- The Raiders would add their second goal of the game a mere ten minutes later, as Faith Papazoglou fed a pass back to Alexis Jamiola, as the sophomore unleashed her right foot, drilling the top right corner of the net to give MSOE the 2-0 advantage. That would be all the offense the Raiders needed, with everyone getting on the field as the Warriors were unable to threaten Page Sanchez and the MSOE defense the rest of the way.
