MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The MSOE men's wrestling team dropped their first dual of the season on Thursday night, as a pinfall win in the final bout of the evening propelled the Lakeland Muskies to victory over the Red and White.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lane Andersen started the night off with a 10-0 major decision win at 125 to give MSOE a 4-0 lead, but the Muskies would record back-to-back wins at 133 and 141 to take a 9-4 lead. Liam Anderson would score another major decision win for the Raiders at 149, as the junior came up just short of a technical fall in his 17-8 victory.
- After dropping matches at 157 and 165, Toren Vandenbush scored a 6-1 decision win to keep the Raiders in the mix, as the Red and White trailed 16-11 with three bouts left. Jackson Hughes recorded the Raiders third major decision win of the night in a 12-4 triumph at 184, bringing the Raiders within a point of the Muskies as the team at 16-15.
- Gavin Graham recorded a massive pinfall win for the Red and White in the penultimate match of the night, scoring six points for the Raiders in his first-round victory, putting the Raiders up 21-16 with just the heavyweight clash left. The Muskies would score a pinfall win with just 21 seconds left in the match, propelling Lakeland to the 22-21 win.
WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders are back in action on Saturday, December 20
th, for a tri-match against Millikin University and Wheaton College. The action is set for a 2:00 P.M. start in Wheaton, Ill.
