CHICAGO, Ill. – The MSOE men's track & field head back down to the Windy City this season, competing at the Windy City Rumble at University of Chicago. The Raiders finished in second against many high quality programs as
Zach Zuzzio and
AJ Springer led the Red & White in victorious fashion.

RECAP
- Zuzzio ran away from the field in the 5,000-meter run, clocking a time of 15:14.38, 24 seconds ahead of second place. Lucas Skupien finished third overall in the event, finishing in 15:50.69. In the 3,000-meter run, Cody Zenyuh led a 2-3-4 finish, finishing just under the nine-minute mark in 8:59.91, with Joseph Hillyer in 9:05.98 and Jackson Braun in 9:07.54. Springer continued to show that there is not rust on him, winning the mile in 4:19.74 and later finishing second in the 800-meter run in 1:55.18. Chase Nogalski added a third place finish in the mile, finishing just off his personal best in 4:23.36.
- Over in the field events, Ethan Wrasman led the throwing events for the Red & White, taking third in the shot put with a toss of 14.31 meters and added a fifth-place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 15.69 meters. Camden Nennig and Nana Adubofour each had fifth-place finishes in the jump, Nennig jumping 6.47 meters in the long jump and Adubofour leaping 13.08 meters in the triple jump. Korvan Nameni and Cameron O'Brien each vaulted 4.25 meters in the pole vault, with Nameni getting the edge on misses to finish third while O'Brien finished fourth. Over in the hurdles, Daniel Geerts finished third in 8.43 while Sam Sorenson finishing in fourth, his fastest time coming in the prelims in 8.45.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders head to Ripon College next Saturday, February 7
th, for the Red Hawk Invite. Field events are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. with running events just 30 minutes later at 11:00 a.m.
