MILWAUKEE – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the All-Academic awards for the 2025-26 school year with three members of the MSOE men's track & field team earning honors.

Sam McPeak, AJ Springer, and William Tate all earned honors, with McPeak and Tate earning their first honors of their career, while Springer earns his second consecutive honor.

McPeak, a junior from Dublin, Ohio, kicked things off back in the fall, finishing as the Raiders top runner in two meets, along with finishing as the second runner in three. His fastest time of the year came at the NCAA North Regional where he finished 37^th, just outside all-region in 25:42.9, while also having a third-place finish at the NACC Championship in 25:56.7. During the track season, he had two all-conference finishes at the indoor championships, while taking both the 3,000-meter steeplechase and 5,000-meter run at the outdoor championships to help secure the triple crown for the men. McPeak shattered his school record in the steeplechase with a time of 9:01.68 to qualify himself for the NCAA Outdoor National Championship, where he finished 19^th in the prelims in 9:16.40.

Springer, a junior from Whitefish Bay, came back from nearly a year long injury and was still lights out in the middle-distance events, resetting his school record in the 800-meter run in both indoors and outdoors, while qualifying for both nationals as well. During indoors, he clocked a time of 1:52.94 at the Red Hawk Invite on February 7^th to qualify for the NCAA Indoor National Championship, where he finished 11^th in the prelims in 1:53.27. During outdoors, Springers went under the 1:50 barrier for the first time in his career, going 1:48.99 at the Uncaged Eagle Open to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor National Championship, winning his heat of the prelims before finishing fifth in the final, going 1:49.73.

Tate, a junior from Cudahy, was one of the top throwers for the Red & White, having two first-place finishes in the indoor season and two during the outdoor season. Tate won the weight throw at the Dick Hendricks Invite and Ripon Final Qualifier, adding an all-conference finish at the NACC Indoor Championship where he finished third with 15.81 meters. During outdoors, he won the hammer at the Marquette Invitational with a career best 48.59 meters, along with winning the discus at the NACC Outdoor Championship in 46.08 meters.

This had a historic season for both the cross country and track & field program, where they captured the triple crown for the first time since 2022, along three different qualifiers and six school records falling.
