Men's Track Wins NACC Indoor Title

RIPON, Wis. – For the first since 2011, the MSOE men's track & field team won the 2026 NACC Indoor Championship outright. The Raiders collected three event wins, along with setting four new school records to claim victory.

  • The Raiders kicked off the weekend by setting three school records on day one, first with Nana Adubofour in the triple jump with a leap of 13.96 meters to finish in third with all-conference honors. Korvan Nameni finished second in the pole vault to break the record, vaulting 4.65 meters. Cameron O'Brien finished just behind him in third with 4.50 meters. Over on the track, Daniel Geerts rebroke his 60-meter hurdles record, bringing it down to 8.10 seconds and now sits 11th nationally. Ethan Wrasman broke the record in the shot put, tossing 15.29 meters.
  • AJ Springer was a double champion in the mid-distance events, first taking the mile run in 4:19.21 and then in the 800-meter run in 1:53.28. Sam Sorenson took the 60-meter hurdles, clocking 8.29.
  • The Raiders added all-conference finishes in the distance events, first on Friday with Zach Zuzzio finishing third in the 5,000-meter run in 15:26.21 and then on Saturdal Sam McPeak in the 3,000-meter run in 8:39.02 to finish second. Over in the field events, Joe Juliano cleared 1.90 meters to finish second in the high jump. Camden Nennig finished third in the long jump, jumping a new personal best 6.81 meters. Over in the throws, Elijah Villa snagged two all-conference finishes finishing second in the weight throw with 16.42 meters and third in the shot put with 14.72 meters. William Tate added a third place finish in the weight throw, tossing 15.81 meters.
WHO'S ON DECK
A select group of Raiders will head to last chance meets next weekend with the final week to qualify for the NCAA Indoor National Championship, set to begin Friday, March 13th in Birmingham, Alabama.
