DE PERE, Wis. – The MSOE baseball team split their double-header at St. Norbert College as they took game one taking a massive early lead.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Game One
- MSOE (26-8, 17-3 NACC) began than runaway in game one from the jump as Camden Hoier and Robby Erickson each knocked in two runs on singles to right. In the second, Teo Greco extended the lead as he launched his first home run of the season, driving in him and Jake Franks. Later in the inning, Charlie Claas streaked home after Christian Bosque was caught in a rundown to make it 7-0 after two.
- JJ Jackson got the start on the mound and kept St. Norbert (16-17, 6-12 NACC) scoreless through four innings until they put one across in the fifth to make it 7-1. The Green Knights added pressure in the eighth, scoring three to make it a three-run game. After the Raiders added an insurance run in the ninth as Franks stole home as Max Babich finished things off on the mound in the ninth to seal it.
- Game Two
- Hoier knocked in the opening run once again with a single to right with the bases loaded to kick-start the inning. Kyle Mayberry and Ben Sullivan knocked in the next two runs off back-to-back sacrifice flies to lead 3-0. The Green Knights cut it down to one in the bottom of the second with a drive to left field for a home run, making it 3-2.
- The Green Knights took their first lead of the day in the third inning with a 4-3 advantage. After they added another in the fourth, Christian Bosque tied up the game with two run double, going to third on the throw. Le retook the with an RBI groundout, with Sullivan extending it three batters later to make it 7-5.
- The Green Knights tied up the ball game with two run shot to left to be dead locked after five. The savviness of Franks on the basepaths put the Raiders back into the lead, stealing third and then coming home off an error on the throwdown to make in 8-7. In the bottom of the eighth after getting a runner on, the Green Knights used three straight bunts to tie up the game before taking a 9-8 lead. The Raiders were unable to get the tying run on base in the ninth inning to fall.

The Raiders will face non-conference action on Saturday, April 26
th in Naperville, Illinois as they take on North Central College at 11:00 a.m. and Wabash College at 2:30 p.m.
