WHITEWATER, Wis. – The MSOE men's track & field compete down in Whitewater at the Rex Foster Twilight on Friday, totaling three event wins and six inside the top three.
RECAP
- Sam McPeak kicked off the running events, winning the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:20.24, sitting now 11th in Division III this season. The group of Nathaniel Asiedu-Mensah, Nana Adubofour, Jack Schwartz, and Camden Nennig took third in the 4x100-meter relay, clocking a time of 43.08. Sam Sorenson clocked a new personal best in the 110-meter hurdles, going 14.77 seconds. AJ Springer ran away from the field in the 800-meter run, finishing in 1:53.97, gapping the field by nearly four seconds.
- Over in the field events, Colby Sehnert finished third in the pole vault with a vault of 3.86 meters. In the discus, William Tate tossed 47.99 meters in the discus for a third-place finish. Elijah Villa and Ethan Wrasman finished fourth and fifth in the shot put, Villa going 14.45 meters and Wrasman going 14.33 meters.
