Box Score WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The MSOE women's volleyball team opened NACC play with a tightly-contested 3-1 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran Tuesday evening on the WLC campus.
The Raiders (3-5, 0-1 NACC) played the Vikings (3-4, 1-0 NACC) for the second time in a week. Wisconsin Lutheran was victorious in a marathon five-set match last Wednesday at the Kern Center. This time, MSOE fell 25-22, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18.
Freshman Maria Bintz (Germantown, Wis. / Kettle Moraine Lutheran) led the way with 10 kills, while freshman Rachel Lynde (Colorado Springs, Co. / Rampart) tallied nine kills without an error and hit .500 for the match.
Four Raiders reached double-figures in digs, led by junior Ali Borrelli's (Manhattan, Ill. / Peotone) 18. Juniors Amy Gustafson (Eagan, Minn. / Eastview) and Ali LoBue (Homewood, Ill. / Homewood-Flossmoor) finished with 15 apiece.
MSOE returns to action Wednesday, playing at Ripon.
