FRIDLEY, Minn. – The MSOE men's tennis team opened its 2016 season with a 9-0 loss against Bethel Friday evening at Life Time Fitness.

The Raiders (0-1) came closest to a win against the Royals (1-0) at No. 2 doubles, where juniors John Price and Tom Smith fell by a narrow 9-7 margin.

MSOE continues its season-opening trip through Minnesota Saturday, playing Northwestern at 11 a.m. and Hamline at 7:30 p.m.
