MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's tennis continued to progress in the non-league season but could not secure any wins in falling to Carroll 9-0 Saturday afternoon at Elite Club River Glen.
The Raiders (0-5) fell in straight-sets to the Pioneers (2-1) but did put up a fight at several positions in both singles and doubles.
Sophomore Michael Korbut forced an opening-set tiebreak at No. 5 singles, falling 7-6 (6-3), 6-1 in the match. Meanwhile, in both the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles positions, the score was 8-4.
MSOE now has off until the end of March when it will open NACC play on March 30 vs. Wisconsin Lutheran.
