PLAINFIELD, Ill.  – MSOE men's tennis officially kicked of their season on Saturday evening, taking on a pair of teams in Illinois. While the Raiders took care of business versus Wartburg, they struggled against one of the top teams in the region in North Central (Ill.) to go 1-1 on the day.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH
This weeks honors go to Luke Nelson. The senior went 2-0 on the afternoon, accounting for a third of the Raiders total points. He battled with partner David Chon to take the No. 1 doubles spot by a single point before becoming the only Red & White student-athlete to win a singles match by the score of 6-1 in the No. 2 spot against Wartburg.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Raider men will be back at it this upcoming Saturday with another two matches. First they will take on D-I UW-Green Bay at 12:00 pm before facing off against St. Norbert at 3:00 pm. Both matches will take place in De Pere, Wis.
