MILWAUKEE – MSOE women's volleyball kicked off their conference slate this morning when they hosted Wisconsin Lutheran inside Hotchkin Arena. While the first game of the doubleheader didn't go as planned, the Raiders quickly turned things around with a dominate performance in the second to split with the Warriors on Sunday.

Game One
Wisconsin Lutheran – 3 (25, 25, 25)
MSOE RAIDERS – 0 (23, 17, 21)

Game Two
Wisconsin Lutheran – 0 (19, 15, 11)
MSOE RAIDERS – 3 (25, 25, 25)

HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (2-1, 1-1 NACC North) had a hard time getting anything going in the first game of the day against Wisconsin Lutheran (4-2, 4-2 NACC North). The Raiders hung right with the Warriors the entire time but just could not put themselves in a position to win thanks to 29 total attacking errors and a -.008 hitting percentage. WLC worked the nets on the defensive end as well with 10 total team blocks compared to just one for the Raiders.

Game two was a much different story. The Red & White cut their total errors in half and increased their attack percentage significantly. MSOE played with the lead during almost the entire contest which caused the Warriors to be the ones to create the errors, 33 to be exact. After two convincing set victories, the Raiders went on a 14-1 run to close out the third and split with WLC on the afternoon.

WHO'S ON DECK
