MEQUON, Wis. – MSOE men's tennis easily brushed aside No. 6 seed Dominican on Monday afternoon and earned a match with No. 2 seed Concordia Wisconsin in the semifinals of the 2021 NACC tournament. Unfortunately, the Falcons proved to be much more of a challenge as the Raiders fell on the road to end their season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
No. 3 seed MSOE (6-8, 4-2 NACC) had a tough time with No. 2 seed Concordia Wisconsin (8-6, 5-1 NACC) on Thursday afternoon. The Raiders lost to the Falcons 7-2 earlier this season and were hoping that the tables would turn heading into the second matchup of the year. Unfortunately, CUW held the Red & White off the scoreboard and ended the match with an early decision. The Raiders still battled, however. Benjamin Steves and Josh Fay held in as long as possible in the third doubles match of the afternoon but fell by the score of 8-5. Alec Dam came the closest to winning a singles match, fighting to a 7-5 first set loss out of the top spot, but the match was ended as the Falcons wrapped up two others solo contests before Dam could come back.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders 2021 season has ended. They finished the campaign with a 6-8 overall record and went 4-2 in conference play. They named the NACC tournament for the seventh straight season.
