MILWAUKEE – MSOE men's soccer was back on their home turf Wednesday, looking to return to the win column after a loss and a tie last week. The Raiders jumped on Illinois Tech from the start to right the ship with a 6-0 win at Viets Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Fans showing up just a few minutes late to the ballgame missed quite the start out of MSOE (11-1-2, 6-1-1 NACC). The Raiders opened up the scoring with Alex Lamb's first collegiate goal just 1:31 into the contest. Zach Thompson would then quickly connect with Nathan Dresen 45 seconds later to put the Red & White up 2-0 almost instantly.
• Tanner Cellio got in on the fun with his first career goal as well to close out the scoring in the first half and it was nothing but Raider tallies the rest of the way.
• Second half goals from Steven Arthur, Dresen, and Freddy Comparato provided the rest of the scoreboard action for the Red & White. Thompson provided assists once again on the first two second frame tallies and Killian Oelrich was credited with the helper on Comparato's score.
• The trio of Asher Harris, Ethan Houseworth, and Patrick Marshall were perfect in net with four saves in the Raiders 6-0 shutout win over Illinois Tech (7-7, 2-6 NACC).

RAIDER REMARKS

• The Raiders are back in the win column against IIT after tying the Scarlet Hawks 1-1 last year. MSOE currently owns a 5-0-2 series record.
• Zach Thompson's three assist night puts him in a tie for fifth in single game program history and he is already eighth all time in the career record books for helpers.
