MILWAUKEE – MSOE women's volleyball returned to the Kern Center for their final homestand of the 2022 season looking to add to their win total. Unfortunately, errors proved to be too costly for the Raiders as they fell to Concordia Chicago 3-1 on Friday night.

Concordia Chicago – 3 (25, 15, 25, 25)
MSOE RAIDERS – 1 (21, 25, 11, 21)

HOW IT HAPPENED

• MSOE (3-14, 1-7 NACC) started their match with Concordia Chicago (8-12, 3-5 NACC) with a set that they had to battle back towards the end to try and steal from the Cougars. Down 20-10, the Raiders won 11 of the next 16 points. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough in a 25-21 loss.
• Thankfully, the Red & White were able to turn the tables in the next frame. Though they only had six kills, MSOE was able to turn on the jets when tied 11-11 to win in convincing fashion 25-15.
• The Cougars wouldn't be down for long though. The Raiders struggled in the third stanza which allowed CUC to take the win with a 25-11 victory behind 11 kills.
• The fourth set proved to be anyone's match as it was tied eight different times and saw five lead changes. The Red & White had 12 kills, but their 11 errors would come back to haunt them. Four of the last six CUC points were off of Raider miscues as the Cougars took the set 25-21 and the match overall 3-1.

RAIDER REMARKS

• After winning 3-0 last season, the Raiders are now an even 5-5 in their last ten matches against the Cougars.
