Muskies Topple Raiders On Senior Night

MILWAUKEE – It was the last tune up for MSOE wrestling this evening before postseason play begins and the Raiders were looking to end things with a win at home against Lakeland on Senior Night. Unfortunately, the Muskies were too much for the Red & White as they fell by the score of 26-13.

RESULT
Lakeland – 26
MSOE RAIDERS – 13

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Connor Nagela was the first to get the Raiders on the board in the 141-pound weight class. He took down his counterpart via major decision by the score of 13-2.
  • The Raiders scored six more points via forfeit in the 157 designation but would go on to drop the next three bouts.
  • After Jack Horihan fell by the narrow score of 5-4, Noah Nieberle got the Raiders back on the right track with a 3-0 win of his own. It was too little, too late however as the Raiders fell by 13 points.

WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will now prepare for the CCIW Championships next week. That meet will take place on Thursday in Wheaton, Ill. starting at 2:00 pm.
