Box Score 2 RACINE, Wis. – Two incredible team victories this weekend from the MSOE men's tennis team as the Raiders take two shutout wins against Edgewood College and Marian University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood
- Joe Chong got the day started with a thrilling 6-2 2-6 10-7 to begin the day for MSOE (6-8). Miguel Lopez at No. 2 spot had a shutout victory 6-0 6-0, followed by Alex Nakasato in a tight battle in the No. 3 singles winning 5-7 6-3 10-7. It was clear victories the rest of the way as Clark Rue (6-0 6-1), Emilio Ulloa (6-2 6-0), and Jachym Smid (6-0 6-0) finished off the sweep in singles play.
- It was all Raiders in doubles play as well as Lopez and Rue took a tight battle 8-7 5-0 in the top doubles and the groups of Smid and Joe Chong as well as Nakasato and Josh Fay took clear victories to finish off the shutout.

- The word in singles play was domination as the Raiders didn't give up a single point in any of their matches to grab an easy six points. Clark and Rue held things down in the No. 1 doubles spot with an 8-2 win, followed by Smid and Chong easily win 8-1 in the No. 2 spot. Nakasato and Fay capped off the match winning 8-0 in the No. 3 doubles to end off the weekend win another shutout team victory.

The Raiders return to the courts next Saturday, March 25th when they travel to Lakeland University beginning at 10 AM.
