HOW IT HAPPENED
- Game One
- An absolute moonshot by Chris Barnes put up two runs early for MSOE (12-8, 4-6 NACC) in the first inning. Tyler Gronert had the start for the Raiders and gave up one run in five innings of play.
- Multiple errors came from the Raiders in the top of the sixth leading to Aurora (20-2, 10-0) to score four runs to take a 5-2 lead. The Raiders added another run in the bottom of the inning from a double by Blake Hall, but a late run from the Spartans added more insurance to their lead that proved to be too much winning 6-3.
- Game Two
- The Spartans high scoring offense emerged in the game two taking over throughout the game, taking advantage of three errors in the game by the Raiders. The Raiders avoided the shutout late in the game off a single from Jack Kalitowski to bring Nolan Wojciechowski around second to score, but the lead Aurora built up was too large running away 9-1.
