HOW IT HAPPENED
- The St. Norbert (5-7-4, 5-3-2 NACC) offense put the pressure on the MSOE (8-3-5, 7-2-1 NACC) early with a shot on goal three minutes in that was saved by Asher Harris. In the 13th minute mark, the Raiders had their first shot on goal by Nico Picha, saved in the lower left corner. The Green Knights held the edge rest of the first half, adding three more shots on goal, but things remained scoreless heading into the break.
- Coming out of the break, Joey Loduca had the first crack of an opportunity in the second half to score three minutes in but saved once again in the bottom left corner. Picha soon after came just close, hitting the top woodwork and sailing out of play. On a corner kick opportunity, Braedon Smith headed on near the goal that came up short with a team save from the Green Knights. It was the Harris show from there as the rest of the shots on goal came from the Green Knights that we were all saved, forcing the first scoreless draw of the season.
