Men's Soccer Draws Warriors in Regular Season Finale

WAUWATOSA, Wis. – In the final regular season game, the MSOE men's soccer team played Wisconsin Lutheran College to a scoreless Wednesday night on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After Braedan Roth sent the first sent the first shot high, Zach Thompson and Nico Picha each had the first opportunity on the Wisconsin Lutheran (8-7-3, 8-2-2 NACC) goalie but saved. In the 28th minute, the Warriors had two opportunities to take the lead over MSOE (9-3-6, 8-2-2 NACC), but Asher Harris saved it with ease. Harris added another save in the 31st minute for the final shot on goal of the half as the scoreboard remained blank.
  • The Raiders continued to go on a tear looking to go ahead of the Warriors, recording six shots on goal in a four-minute span but zero could sneak through. Five corner kicks in the final fifteen minutes continued to test the Warrior defense that sailed out of the box as they things maintained scoreless at the end of 90 minutes.

WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders claimed the No. 3 seed in the NACC Tournament, set to start on Sunday, November 3rd. The Raiders will host Illinois Institute of Technology at 1:00 PM in Viets Field.
