DECATUR, Ill. – The MSOE men's wrestling team kicked off their 2024-25 season against the Big Blue of Millikin University on Friday night, as the Raiders came up short against the #2 finisher in the CCIW preseason poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gavin Graham was the lone Raider to emerge with a victory against the Big Blue, as the West Allis native battled his way to an 8-7 decision win over his Millikin opponent at 184 lbs., preventing the shutout and getting the Raiders on the scoreboard.
- Sophomore Jesse Johnson nearly won the opening bout of the night at 125 lbs., but fell in a high-scoring decision, 18-17. Max Sanderfoot and Jake Schmitt both saw similar outcomes in their respective matches, as both were narrowly defeated in a low-scoring tightly-contested decisions, by a final score of 2-1.
WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will head to Rock Island, Ill. tomorrow for a dual against the Vikings of Augustana College. The action is scheduled to begin at 4:00PM.
