Caleb Brewer had the lone event win as the MSOE men's and women's swimming & diving teams competed at the Carthage Classic where the men finished fifth and the women finished seventh.

MEN'S TEAM RECAP
- Over the course of the three days of action, Brewer had the lone event win as he took the 200-yard butterfly in 1:54.59. He also had a second-place finish when he joined Garin Schilling, Mateo Haeuser, and Cayden Page for the 200-yard medley, finishing in a time of 1:36.40. Page also finished second individually, finishing the 50-yard freestyle in 21.19, while Brewer finished second in the 100-yard butterfly in 50.74.
- Haeuser had two third-place finishes, first in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:09.33, then the next day in the 100-yard breaststroke in 58.23. Joven Langseth had a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard IM in 1:59.56, along with having a fifth-place finish in the 400-yard IM in 4:17.42. In the diving events, Peter Gerrits finished fifth in both the 1-meter dive (275.05) and 3-meter dive (260.80).
WOMEN'S TEAM RECAP
- Jocelyn Katte had the highest finish on the women's side, finishing ninth in the A-final of the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:13.58, just .02 off her prelim time. Ava Pike finished eleventh in the 50-yard freestyle in 25.66, following that up with a 16th place finish earlier in the meet in the 100-yard freestyle in 56.72.
- In the relays, the 200-yard freestyle of relay of Grace Dollevoet, Katte, Addy Benner, and Pike finished tenth in a time of 1:47.11. The women also finished twelfth in the 400-yard medley (4:27.63), the 200-yard medley (2:00.49), and the 400-yard freestyle (3:58.80), respectively.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will have a long break from competition until after the holiday break, returning to the pool in a dual against University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Action is set to start at 5:00 PM.
