MSOE RAIDERS – 1
RV Stevens - 1
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Stevens (1-1-2, 0-0-0 MAC) had the MSOE (0-1-3, 0-0-0 NACC) defense pressured early, having five shot attempts before the Raiders could fire one off themselves. After the things settled, the Raiders got their first look in the 29th minute from Steven Thomas but sailed wide. As they neared half, the Ducks attack finally came through from a corner kick opportunity as they headed into the break with a 1-0 lead.
- The Ducks pressure continued as the second half began with back-to-back corner kick opportunities that were each denied by the Raider defense. After a quiet 15 minutes, Glorioso tied up the match after receiving a cross from Nico Picha to easily tap in. The momentum shifted over to the Raiders as they saw the vast majority of the opportunities, including a shot from Alex Lamb that nailed the crossbar, but the convert on any the rest of the way as they were forced to settle with a tie.
