MSOE RAIDERS – 3

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a slow first five minutes to begin, MSOE (6-3-2, 3-1-1 NACC) began to start firing as they got off four shots in five minutes with Nico Picha sniffing the net. In the 11th, Picha got his chance as the ball was punched out after a corner kick to get the scoring started. The Raiders continued to control the ball on their offensive end, getting three more shots on goal the rest of the half while not letting Marian (4-5-0, 2-3-0 NACC) even come near the net as they held a 1-0 advantage at the break.
- The Raiders continued to put the Sabres in a blender while on offense, getting five shots on goal in the first 25 minutes out of the break, along with Owen Gendrich hitting the post before they finally got their first shot off that went high. Braeden Roth helped elevate the Raider offense as he traveled down the right sideline to feed Manchado in the middle to make it 2-0. Ten minutes later, Lachlan Ladd traveled the goal line and found Manchado once again for his second of the night to put the game on ice.
