KENOSHA, Wis. – The MSOE women's track & field team finished fourth overall at the NACC Indoor Championship, highlighted by
Jessa Alderman and
Gillian McDaniel coming away with new school records.

RECAP
- Alderman was the lone champion over the course of the weekend, winning the shot put in a new program best 13.82 meters. Her mark jumps her all the way up the national list, currently sitting 12th in Division III. McDaniel broke the school record in the 60-meter dash twice over the course of the weekend, first on Friday in the prelim in 8.09 seconds to finish sixth. She then rebroke the record running 8.07 seconds to improve to fifth place overall. She also added her first all-conference performance of her career, finishing third in the long jump leaping 5.34 meters.
- Katrina Wawrzyn had two all-conference performances over the weekend, first finishing second in the weight throw tossing 15.48 meters. She then added a third-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 12.99 meters, which currently sits 44th nationally. Ava Larson also had an all-conference finish, taking third in the weight throw tossing 15.00 meters.
- In the running events, the distance medley relay of Ada Parker, Megan Ruffing, Maddie Griffith, and Alexis Dorner finished fifth, running 14:26.81. Dorner finished seventh overall in the mile run, running 5:42.14. Capping off the meet, Ruffing, Griffith, Dorner, and Kaitlyn Denapoli finished seventh in the 4x400-meter relay, running 4:43.22.
WHAT'S NEXT
A select group will travel to Ripon next Saturday, March 8
th, hoping punch their ticket to the NCAA National Championship in Rochester, New York. Action is set to begin at 12:00 PM.
