ANGOLA, Ind.– The MSOE men's lacrosse team took on the undefeated Trine Thunder on Saturday afternoon, as the Raiders fell victim to the Thunder in a defensive-minded slugfest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders (2-3) surrendered an early goal to the Thunder (7-0) trailing just 47 seconds into the game. The Red and White would quickly bounce back as Case Roberts found Jack Civottolo on the powerplay for the equalizer. Josh Scheibel would find Soren Savard to put the Raiders ahead 2-1 at the 9:33 mark of the first quarter.
- The Thunder would flip the momentum as the first quarter turned to the second, taking a 3-2 lead over the Raiders. Roberts would score off an assist from Cole Karst to knot the game up at 3-3 with nine minutes left in the first half. The Thunder would take a 4-3 lead heading into the halftime break, and coming out of the break the Trine goalie took his play to another level. The Thunder would shut down the Raiders the rest of the way, as MSOE fell to the still perfect Thunder by a score of 7-0.
