HOW IT HAPPENED
- Game One
- MSOE (3-11, 0-0 NACC) jumped out to an early lead over UWL (15-9, 0-0 WIAC) after a passed ball with the bases loaded allowed Jenna O'Donnell to come across for the 1-0 lead, but the Raiders were only able to bring that lone run home. The Eagles would take a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the third, never looking back as they held the Red and White to just three hits the rest of the way.
- Game Two
- In Game Two, the Eagles wasted little time, jumping out to a 2-0 lead after one inning, before extending it to 7-0 by the end of the second. A couple singles from Autumn Sadler and Jayda Nelson looked to spark a Raider rally in the top of the fourth, but Sadler was thrown out at home trying to put the Raiders on the board. UWL would add two more runs in the bottom of the inning, shortening the ballgame as MSOE fell 9-0 in five innings.
