GLENDALE, Wis. – The MSOE baseball team secured another conference sweep, this time against the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks as the Raiders were dominant from the first pitch to the last, outscoring the Scarlet Hawks 20-1 across their two-game series.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Game One
- After a scoreless first two innings, the Raiders would get on the scoreboard first in the bottom of the third, as Joe Stried and Charlie Claas stole second and third, with both coming around to score on an errant throw from the Scarlet Hawks.
- After a home run from Jordan Skolmar, the Raiders found themselves leading 4-1 heading to the bottom of the seventh, Jack Kalitowski recorded a sacrifice fly to add some insurance runs for the Raiders, before a double down the line from JJ Jackson brought two more runs across with the Raiders up 7-1 after seven innings.
- The Raiders would show no signs of slowing down as the Red and White started a short rally in the eighth inning, as Stried scored and an error, followed up by an RBI single from Elias Lopez that allowed Robert Erickson to score. An RBI single from AJ Le would put a bow on game one as MSOE emerged victorious 10-1.
- Game Two
- The Raiders stayed hot to begin game two as Jackson and Stried each recorded RBI singles in the second inning of game two put MSOE up 2-0 early. A solo homerun from Christian Bosque would have the Raiders up 3-0 after three innings of play.
- The Raiders would tag the Scarlet Hawks for four runs in the bottom of the fifth, capping off the run with an RBI single down the right field line from Jackson as the Raiders were looking to go up 10 and end the second game early. The Raiders would add two runs in the bottom of the sixth to go up 9-0, and in the bottom of the seventh Jake Franks stepped into the batter's box with the bases loaded and a chance to end the game. Franks wouldn't even have to take the bat off his shoulder as he drew a quick walk to bring Nicolas Nyasende home for a 10-0 shutout win for the Red and White.
