Men's Lacrosse Secures Come Back Win Over Eagles

MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's lacrosse team upped their win to streak to five games on Saturday afternoon, as the Raiders came back to win on their home turf in a 6-4 victory over Edgewood College.

RESULT
Edgewood College - 4
MSOE RAIDERS - 6

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • MSOE (8-5, 6-2 NACC) notched the first goal of the game over Edgewood (3-9, 2-6 NACC) on an unassisted goal from Carter Stahl not even 90 seconds into the contest.  The Raiders would go cold on the offensive end the rest of the first half, as the Eagles were able to take a 2-1 lead by the end of the first quarter, holding it through the halftime break.
  • In the second half, it was the Eagles that would come out firing, building their lead while the Red and White trailed 4-1 at the 11:32 mark of the third quarter.  Just over a minute past the Eagles last goal, Tom Farren got the Raiders back on the scoreboard, before Ethan Haselwood found Luke Neal to bring the score to 4-3.  With the Raiders trailing by a single goal, Stahl found Soren Savard for the equalizer and not even a minute later Stahl would add his second goal of the game, giving MSOE their first lead since the first quarter.  Case Roberts would add an insurance goal with Goalie Alex Lo put on a clinic down the stretch, stopping every Eagle shot in the fourth quarter as MSOE came back to secure the 6-4 conference win.
