GLENDALE, Wis. -  The MSOE Men's tennis team hosted the NACC Tournament Semifinals on Thursday afternoon, as the Raiders welcomed the St. Norbert Green Knights to Elite North Shore.  The Red and White would go on to shutout the Green Knights by a score of 4-0, advancing to the NACC Championship for the third straight season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Raiders would secure the doubles point to open the afternoon, taking two of three from the Green Knights as the MSOE teams of Andres Saavedra/Joe Chong and Miguel Lopez/Clark Rue were able to wrestle victories away from SNC.
• In singles play, Augusto Yamazaki would secure the first win for the Red and White, as his 6-1, 6-2 victory pushed the MSOE lead to 2-0.  Fellow freshman Carlos Lopez followed up Yamazaki with a 6-2, 6-1 win from the #6 singles spot as the Raiders moved within a point of advancing to the championship.
• Miguel Lopez would deliver a win in straight sets to secure the win for the Raiders as the junior posted scores of 6-1, 6-3 as the Red and White advance to the NACC Tournament Finals, where they will meet either No. 2 Illinois Tech or No. 3 Concordia Wisconsin.

The Raiders will await their opponent, as they gear up for the NACC Championship on Sunday, May 4^th, at SportsCore in Kohler, Wisconsin.  Start time is TBA.
