RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The MSOE men's soccer put on an offensive clinic Sunday afternoon, using six different players to score while letting up only one shot from Concordia University Chicago for their third-straight win.
RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 6
Concordia Chicago - 0
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (5-2-1, 2-0-0 NACC) kicked things off in the 17th minute as after stealing the ball and pushing it up to midfield, Ditar Useni slot one right through the Concordia Chicago (1-6-1, 0-1-0 NACC) defense to find Nico Picha for him to go right past the goalkeeper for the early lead. Just five minutes later, Tanner Cellio got a perfect break on a ball to steal it in the Raiders' own offensive end, needing just one dribble to send it into the back of the net to build the lead to 2-0 that they held at the break.
- After a slow start to the second half, Useni got the scoring started back up again as Bradeon Smith fed him on the left side to add to the lead. The Raider offense then recorded goals in a plenty, scoring three goals in less than five minutes, with Steven Thomas, Enzo Bova, and Charlie Silvestri each put it past the Cougars to completely run away.
