NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The MSOE men's soccer team was back in action Thursday evening, traveling down to North Central College. After the two sides traded first-half goals, the Raiders settled for a draw against the Cardinals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the first shot of the game went for MSOE (2-0-1, 0-0-0 NACC) went wide, North Central (1-0-2, 0-0-0 CCIW) went down the field and turned a wacky play into a ball in the back of the net for the first goal of the game in the eighth minute.
- In the 27th minute, Braedon Smith played a ball in the box, drawing a foul to send Austin Killen for a penalty kick opportunity. Killen sent the ball to the top shelf over the Cardinal goalkeeper to tie the game at one, which held at the halftime break.
- Both defenses became stout on their ends, as the Asher Harris made four second-half saves, while the Raiders recorded eight shots, but none found their way near the net. Tanner Cellio had the closest chance in the 59thminute, hitting the left crossbar, as the two sides ended in a draw.
