NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The MSOE men's soccer team was back in action Thursday evening, traveling down to North Central College. After the two sides traded first-half goals, the Raiders settled for a draw against the Cardinals.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After the first shot of the game went for MSOE (2-0-1, 0-0-0 NACC) went wide, North Central (1-0-2, 0-0-0 CCIW) went down the field and turned a wacky play into a ball in the back of the net for the first goal of the game in the eighth minute. 
• In the 27^th minute, Braedon Smith played a ball in the box, drawing a foul to send Austin Killen for a penalty kick opportunity. Killen sent the ball to the top shelf over the Cardinal goalkeeper to tie the game at one, which held at the halftime break.
• Both defenses became stout on their ends, as the Asher Harris made four second-half saves, while the Raiders recorded eight shots, but none found their way near the net. Tanner Cellio had the closest chance in the 59^thminute, hitting the left crossbar, as the two sides ended in a draw.
