HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (11-5, 4-0 NACC) snagged the first two-point lead at 5-3 with Harris and Hunter Carroll teaming up for the block until Lakeland (8-11, 3-3 NACC) went on a 4-0 run to lead 11-10. The Raiders retook the lead after a kill from Seth Thomas as he extended it just a few points later, killing two and acing one, with Gregory Kubon stuffing set point at the net to win 25-21.
- Snagging the lead early, the Raiders went down 9-7 before taking the lead back ahead 14-12 at the midway point. The Muskies slowed trickled back to grab an 18-17 advantage until errors from them haunted them as the lead swung back to the Red & White 22-19. Thomas would cap the set with a pair of kills to seal it 25-23.
- The Muskies found a rhythm to open set three, leading 11-5 just before the midway point. The Raiders cut it down to two off a 5-1 run and then used a 6-1 run to lead 19-17, proving to be the pivotal part of the set as they held off the Muskies, winning 25-23.
