MILWAUKEE - Senior Eric Klamrowski and freshman John Price each posted wins in singles play, as well as doubles, to lead the MSOE men's tennis team to a 6-3 win over Lawrence at Elite-River Glen.
The Raiders (1-1) picked up their first win of the season with four singles wins and two of the three doubles places against the Vikings (0-1).
Klamrowski won his No. 1 singles match in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0. At No. 1 doubles, he teamed with freshman David Gorodetsky for an 8-4 win. Price's singles win was also in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2, in the No. 5 position. He teamed with freshman Tom Smith at No. 3 doubles for a decisive 8-1 victory.
MSOE also picked up singles victories in the No. 4 and No. 6 positions. Senior Reekah Delfanian won at No. 4, 6-2, 7-5. In the No. 6 spot, junior Andrew Kosasih dropped the first set, but bounced back for a 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, win.
The Raiders get two weeks off before returning to action with a doubleheader at UW-Eau Claire Feb. 22. MSOE takes on both the host Blugolds and Loras.
