Box Score MILWAUKEE – The MSOE baseball team fell to Milwaukee 13-1 Wednesday afternoon at Henry Aaron Field.
The Raiders (10-13) managed just two hits in the game against the NCAA Division I Panthers (11-15), but drew six walks in the game.
Milwaukee scored first, striking five times in the first inning. The home team then scored runs in each of the third through seventh innings.
MSOE's run came in the fourth inning. Senior Wes Stasik led off the inning with the team's first hit of the game. A pair of walks loaded the bases, then junior Max Poeske drew a walk to force in Stasik from third.
Senior David Miklosi had the Raiders' other hit, a single in the fifth, and senior Tyler Magyar walked twice.
Six different Red and White pitchers saw the mound. Senior Luke Yogerst (2-3) got the start and allowed three earned runs in just a third of an inning. Junior Ben Falls pitched a scoreless 1.2 innings of relief with two strikeouts, while juniors Josh Kundinger and Mike Venturini closed out the game with scoreless innings.
The Raiders return to conference play with a doubleheader at Marian Saturday.
