Offensive Troubles Hinder Raiders

Box Score

MILWAUKEE – MSOE women's basketball had revenge on their mind when they welcomed St. Nobert to the Kern Center. Looking to avenge their loss to the Green Knights from late January, the Raiders went for the split of the season series and tried to improve on their playoff picture. Unfortunately, the Red & White never could establish a good rhythm to their offensive game and fell to SNC by 14 points on Tuesday night.

FINAL SCORE
St. Norbert – 55
MSOE RAIDERS – 41

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • MSOE (7-12, 5-8 NACC) scored just seven points in the first quarter against St. Norbert (15-7, 12-3 NACC) which set the tone for the rest of the evening.
  • The Raiders improved on that total by only two points, scoring nine in the second period of play and went 6-25 from the field in the first half as they trailed by 13 at the intermission.
  • The Red & White looked like they had turned the corner after the break by scoring 17 points in the third and cutting the Green Knights lead down to eight. However, they would be back to single digits in the fourth and a 9-0 SNC run sealed the deal in the MSOE 55-41 defeat.

RAIDER REMARKS

  • The Green Knights won the season series 2-0 and are 3-0 all time against the Red & White.
  • Raekyiah Williams brought down her 150th rebound of her career this evening.
