RACINE, Wis. – MSOE men's tennis competed in their last match before conference play begins when they hosted Lake Forest on Sunday. The Raiders turned in a strong showing but still fell by the slimmest of margins at home in Racine.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (1-9) came to play on Sunday and showed massive improvement from their first match against Lake Forest (6-6) last fall where they lost 8-1.
- As always, the day started off in doubles play where the Raiders were able to pick up one point. Daniel Lukasek and Joe Chong secured the second spot win with an 8-7, 7-2 extra points victory.
- Down 2-1, the Red & White gave the Foresters a run for their money in singles action. Both Lukasek and Chong won their matches in third set tiebreaks and Alex Nakasato had a more conventional with 7-5, 6-4.
- MSOE had a chance to take the overall victory but they weren't able to pull off the come from behind win in the sixth spot during their 5-4 loss to LFC.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will have their NACC season opener this Saturday when they take on Edgewood starting at 10:00 am. They will also take on Carroll later that day at 2:00 pm.
