HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (7-12, 5-2 NACC) knew they had a tough task ahead of them in Illinois Tech (9-8, 7-0 NACC) who came into play without a blemish on their conference record.
- The Raiders were able to snag one point in doubles play when the team of Josh Fay and Benjamin Steves defeated their opponents in a nailbiter 8-7 (9-7).
- Unfortunately, the Raiders didn't have much success on the solo side of things. Daniel Lukasek came the closest to pulling out a win but lost 4-6, 7-5, 0-1 (3-10). Most of the other sets were decided by either 6-0 or 6-1 scores.
