Box Score GLENDALE, Wis. – In a thrilling home opener, a two RBI by Kyle Labedz give the MSOE baseball team 5-4 win over University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A hot start began as both Chris Barnes and Blake Hall each reached on their first plate appearances and advanced to second and third on balk. Micah Overley hit a double to bring Barnes into score with Collin Truitt up to the plate next as he grounded out to short to bring Hall in as well. A second balk from the pitcher brought Overley into score from third as MSOE (6-2) had a 3-0 lead after the first inning.
- UW-Oshkosh (9-3) picked up two more runs in the top of the fourth, taking the lead on a two-run home run in the top of the fifth 4-3. The Raiders answered in the bottom of the sixth as with two runners in scoring position, Kyle Labedz singled into left field to bring in Hall to tie the game at four.
- The bottom of the eighth was led off by Overley who ripped a ball into deep left center to bring himself always the way to third. After a strikeout, another single from Labedz brought in the eventual game-winning run to take the lead 5-4. A big 1-2-3 from Cole Ninmann in the top of the ninth sealed the game for the Raiders.
