MILWAUKEE – For the first time since 2015, the MSOE men's track & field team will be represented at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships as
Gavin Fritsch qualifies for the championships in the discus, announced Friday.
Fritsch has been on a tear this outdoor season as he broke the school record in the event to begin the outdoor season, adding three feet to program best. Since that meet, the first year has set his mark on the conference in the event winning the championship back on May 5
th and since improved by almost eight meters, tossing 53.02 meters last night at Augustana.
Fritsch will get set to throw at 1 PM (ET) in Rochester, New York, hosted by St. John's Fisher University on Thursday, May 25th. Live links will be available closer to the start of competition.
