Box Score ELMHURST, Ill. – After their first two games last week, the Raiders return to field as they traveled down to Elmhurst University, ultimately falling to the Blue Jays 22-6.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was all Elmhurst (4-0) to start the game on a 4-0 run before Sean Roberts put the first goal on the board with 8:04. The Blue Jays added another goal on the scoreboard before Peter Russchenberg scored his first goal of the game with 6:08 to make the score 5-2. The Blue Jays scored two more to end the first period, making the score 7-2.
- Another Blue Jay goal began the second period, but MSOE (0-3) found the back of the net the next two times with Russchenberg getting his second goal of the night and Soren Savard to cut their deficit to four. The Blue Jays shut the Raiders down the rest of the half, going into the break leading 11-4.
- Riley Woyatas got the Raiders on the board first to start the second half, before the Blue Jays score two more of their own. Tanner Whipps scored his first goal of the season at the 3:23 mark, but it was all Blue Jays the rest of the game, as they ran away winning 22-6.
