MILWAUKEE – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference has announced the soccer players of the week, with the men sweeping both awards with Asher Harris earning defensive player of the week and Nico Picha named offensive player of the week, respectively.

Harris, a senior goalkeeper, made a total of nine saves while allowing just one goal as MSOE posted road victories over Calvin and (RV) Hope. He made four saves before being lifted in the 82nd minute of a 5-1 win over the Knights in the season opener, then recorded five saves while recording a clean sheet in a 1-0 win against the Flying Dutchmen.

Picha, a junior forward, scored two goals in the Raiders' 5-1 season-opening win at Calvin on Aug. 29, then followed it up the following day with the lone goal in a 1-0 victory at (RV) Hope. He provided the game-winning goal in both contests.

The Raiders are back in action on the road Thursday, September 4^th, when they take on North Central College at 7:00 p.m.
