HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (1-1, 1-1 NACC North) took control of today's contest early and never gave it up. The Raiders kicked off the scoring at 17:48 in the first half when Konrad Knap knocked one home to give the Red & White a one goal lead. Kollin McGregor scored MSOE's second tally just over 30 seconds later and Joey Schauer added yet another one less than a minute after McGregor's went in. Schauer scored his second of the game to close out the first frame, which ended with the Raiders leading 4-0. Marian (0-2, 0-2 NACC North) finally got on the board to begin the second, but it was too little too late. Schauer tallied his third and final goal of the game to get their four point advantage back and MSOE would add two more to give themselves their first win of the 2021 season via a 7-2 victory.
